Yellow class had so much fun at the zoo last week. Our favourite animals were the penguins and dinosaurs. We also got to hold a snake, cockroach and a giant snail. The sun kept shining for us to have fun on the park too!
Purple class have had a very busy month in school. We enjoyed a lot of physical activity... preparing for sports day! Lots of messy play and practising turn taking with our friends.
We all had an amazing time on our first visit to The Yard in Edinburgh. We cannot wait to go back....

Green class had a super day out yesterday when they visited Edinburgh zoo with yellow class. We did a handling session and got to hold a snail, cockroach and a cornsnake. Next we visited the penguins and saw the koalas, wallabies, tigers and chimpanzees. Of course we had a little play at the park too!
We all really enjoyed sport's day today and didn't even mind when the rain came on. We loved taking part in all the activities we've been practising in PE and had great fun. Best of all we got a gold medal at the end!
Yellow class have been working hard completing their maths and literacy tasks. We are doing well working independently and you can see it on our concentrating faces and big smiles!

Group 4 recently completed a book trail around Blackburn which was run in conjunction with some of the other local schools. The pupils enjoyed visiting the different locations around Blackburn to find the clues.
